Ari cooled compact chiller or water cooled compact chiller, how to choose?
For air cooling and water cooling chiller, the first difference is the composition of the refrigeration system. In short, we can see the cooling tower connected to water-cooled chiller, while air cooled chillers do not need the cooling tower which uses fan to dissipate heat through air flow.
Generally, The energy consumption of water-cooled chiller is slightly lower than that of air-cooled chiller. When very high cooling capacity is needed, water cooled chillers are more recommended, while for small cooling capacity cases, such as scientific research laboratories are mostly equipped with air cooled chillers. Air cooled chillers are easy to move, no need water tubes and easy for maintenance.
